Chronic pain, chronic migraines, severe lower back and neck pain these are just some of the issues that new patients come to our office afflicted by. These patients have tried medication, cortisone shots, surgery, and other rehabilitation options and all have proven ineffective in controlling their pain. By the time they come to our clinic many of the patients feel as though they are at the end of their rope. Enter medical massage and its power to transform your body. We are proud to announce that we now accept insurance for medical massage treatments.

We will begin with a thorough assessment to establish the root causes of your symptoms; get your history, will evaluate your soft tissues to best determined what triggers your pain so we know where to work accordantly. Next, we developed a plan of care that will outline your treatments based on the findings.

To properly address a condition with medical massage is very important that your treatments are timed appropriately, so that one treatment will build upon your previous treatment. Usually your treatment are 1-3 days apart maximum. This allows the body to build up a positive clinical response in the soft tissue. You may need an average of 6-8 treatments; some people may need less, some people may need more depending on each case. Depending on your particular case will determined if is needed 30 minutes or 1 hour treatments. With Medical Massage your treatments isn’t a full body massage. We work on the area of the body that is in need. Supportive self-care exercises will be recommended.

At this point you should no longer be experiencing pain and have likely noticed your symptoms have disappeared, this means that your body has returned to homeostasis. Upon completion of your treatments,  if you decided to maintain what you have achieved based on your goals we offer to you our Peak Maintenance Program.  You will come in for a monthly treatment to keep your body at it’s highest point, pain free.  Through our Treatments and Maintenance programs our focus is to achieve your goals and to help you optimize your health and wellness for life.
